Are you a woman with a testimony? Maybe in what felt like overnight, you found yourself faced with one of the most difficult struggles of your life. You began questioning the Lord asking "Why me"? You even began fighting with yourself through thoughts of:
"I'm not a bad person, I have a good heart and help others-so why would God allow something like this happen to me"...
You tried turning to family- but no one had the time to listen. And those who did listen never seemed to understand how you felt. You even tried phoning friends in the midnight hour -but they were unavailable or too consumed with their own problems to help with yours. The loneliness and the pain became so heavy that it began to cut through your innermost being. So you prayed and cried, you prayed and cried, and you prayed and cried. In fact you prayed so hard you fell asleep prostrate many nights, waiting for an answer from the Lord. "God are you listening" you'd shout aloud in your frustration. And although it felt to you that he wasn't listening...you stood your ground and kept your faith. No matter how weary-you didn't faint. Faith became the only source to your survival and sanity.
You pushed yourself to keep going to church. The enemy began telling you that you didn't have a reason to lift your hands and praise God. In fact, you allowed doubt to set up so fierce in your mind...you could barely make out the Pastor's sermon. The one line you did make out became the life jacket that kept you. And that simple line was:
"Your breakthrough was on the way".
See that was all you needed to give you HOPE!
The enemy kept telling you that you weren't going to make it. The bills kept piling up, you got laid off from your job, you got diagnosed with a terrible disease, your loved one who was the backbone in your life died, you faced abuse, many so called friends abandoned you, and just when things seemed like they couldn't get any worse... depression came knocking at your door. Everything around you completely fell apart and you never thought you would make it.
BUT YOU SURVIVED!!!!
Though the process felt long and slow...YOU SURVIVED! God had to show you that HE was your only deliverer. You didn't know it then but God had the saints praying you through. Even more glorious Jesus was praying for you too. He was praying that your faith would not fail. He paid the bills, removed the sickness, and showed you He would raise up a standard against the enemy when he poured into your life like a flood. God washed you clean, comforted every tear you cried, and restored you. There is no more doubting... no more unbelief... for you know the Lord our God truly is your provider, your healer, and so much more. Despite the lies from the enemy you know it was NO ONE but GOD that brought you out of darkness. You should be dead, locked up in someone's mental institution, and on drugs but God never gave up on you! Its because God never gave up on you that you have a testimony! And every time you tell it, you know that you overcome the enemy with the power of your testimony.
You may never understand why you had to endure the storm.. but you realize it was in the storm that you met Jesus. Now you know what it means to be victorious. What the enemy meant for evil, God meant for your Good because this experience has made you better and stronger. God has given you a new praise in your spirit. You now understand grace, mercy, and most of all...faithfulness. Why? Because you have been REDEEMED!
No devil in hell can stop your destiny! You are a witness that NOTHING is to hard for God. You've learned to trust him no matter what you SEE before you. YOU SURVIVED!!! And because YOU SURVIVED you understand what it means to be REDEEMED. You understand that the greatest love of all was shown by Jesus when he died on the cross for our sins, so that we can have eternal life. You understand the blessing of now going forth and sowing into your sisters in CHRIST! YOU share your testimony, you go forth in your ministry, and you remember there is no greater love than what GOD HAS FOR YOU!! If you aren't already a member please sign up here on the site today.
